Blog Assignment 1

            I am 20 and was born in Sao Palo, Brazil and adopted when I was two years old. I have lived in Mobile Alabama most of my life except for 2 years when my family moved to Millbrook Alabama for my dads Job. I am the youngest of three and both my brother and sister, who are both 21, are also adopted from Brazil. My parents are both educators;  my mother is newly retired from teaching 25 years in Mobile and my dad is retired from Alabama School System and works in Mississippi as a high school Administrator . I have three jobs; I work at Sunshine Skate center, Mobile Country Club, and at Davidson High school. 

            I can’t remember a time that I didn’t want to be a teacher. I have grown up around educators, my parents, and I have seen the way they have impacted children’s lives over the years. My brother and sister were both classified as special needs students all threw school and I have experienced a lot of their struggles and accomplishments and that helped me narrow my choice of study to special education.
